First Touchpoint
This project began when the owner of a jewelry and cellphone shop on Calgary’s busy International Avenue reached out to Met Interiors looking to completely transform their retail space. The existing interior lacked impact, and the client wanted a design that would instantly build trust with customers while standing out in a high foot traffic location.
Concept Discussion
During our initial discussion, the focus was on creating a modern, luxury retail environment that remained practical for everyday business operations. The client wanted a clean and premium look that would enhance product presentation without overwhelming the space. We reviewed the layout, customer flow, and display requirements to ensure the design would support both aesthetics and functionality.
Design & Project Planning
Based on the vision, we developed a design that combined marble look wall panels with vertical slat detailing to add depth and structure. Gold trims and accents were introduced to elevate the space and create a refined showroom feel. Integrated LED lighting was planned to highlight feature walls, shelving, and display zones while keeping the focus on the products.
Materials & Textures
Once the design direction was approved, we provided a detailed project estimate and finalized material selections. Durable marble look panels, premium slat panels, gold accent trims, and energy efficient LED lighting were chosen to withstand daily retail use while maintaining a high end appearance. Custom shelving and glass display counters were carefully specified to maximize visibility and functionality.
